Webinar series on health-impacting contaminants
WQA's new webinar series on health-impacting contaminants and treatment will provide water quality professionals the information they need to design treatment solutions to contaminants with growing point-of-use/point-of-entry applications.
Interest in POU/POE for compliance is growing as regulatory agencies look for knowledgeable partners:
- The federal arsenic MCL is not sufficiently protective, and several states are setting lower MCLs
- POU treatment for lead is more cost-effective for small public water systems
- Proposed Lead/Copper rule includes POU filtration as a compliance methodology
- Sanitization concerns from water stagnation
Join us for the webinars:
- Aug. 26 - Microbiologicals
All webinars will begin at noon EDT/11 a.m. CDT. Pre-registration is required. A video recording of each webinar also will be sent to all registered participants.
Each webinar offers 0.25 CPD with successful completion of a quiz. The link to the quiz will be supplied to all registered participants after the webinar is held.
