WQA Government Affairs has established this resource page to provide tools on addressing the sale of counterfeit goods. (Available to Core and Premier members only)

Globalization and the rise of e-commerce has heightened the issue of counterfeit goods and concerns over public safety of consumers and potential damage to personal property.

Among other actions, WQA has participated in meetings with the Intelligence Property Rights (IPR) Center to channel concerns to partner agencies as a part of a public campaign designed to alert authorities to be on the lookout for counterfeit goods.

WQA is also a founding member of the Coalition to Combat Counterfeiting working to put pressure on Congress to look at the challenges and costs of counterfeiting to businesses and consumers, as well as, the effectiveness of current enforcement efforts.
