WQA announces new country manager in India
New Manager, USA Business Development also named

LISLE, Ill. – The Water Quality Association (WQA) today announced that it has named Vaneet Gupta as its new country manager in India, a position responsible for representing WQA in India and serving as the main client and member contact for WQA in the Indian market.

“We are extremely pleased to have Vaneet join our team,” said Sam De Laender, International Operations Manager for WQA. “We selected Vaneet for this role because of his extensive water and water treatment industry experience as well as his experience in product certification."

WQA has also named Kyle Whalen as the new Manager, USA Business Development. Whalen has served as Account Representative at WQA for the past four years.

“Kyle was selected for this role because of his dedication to the Association, technical knowledge and experience with key account management,” said WQA Business Development Director Brian Geegan. “This is a new role at WQA, and Kyle will be responsible for driving growth and recognition in the USA market."

Gupta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. Harisingh Sagar University, MP, India as well as an MBA from the Centre for Management Development, Modinagar, UP, India. His responsibilities will include developing new business, conducting audits and serving as the main contact for businesses that want to work with WQA.

“WQA has a rich history of involvement in India including the development of what is now known as WQIA,” De Laender said, referring to the Water Quality Association of India. “This position confirms our commitment to the Indian market."

Gupta will be based in northern India.

WQA is a not-for-profit trade association representing the residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment industry. Since 1959, the WQA Gold Seal certification program has been certifying products that contribute to the safe consumption of water. The WQA Gold Seal program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).
