About WQA
The Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit association for the residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment industry. WQA represents more than 2,500 member companies around the globe. Our membership is comprised of equipment manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and distributors of water quality improvement products and services.
WQA also serves as an educator of water treatment professionals, a certifier of water treatment products, a public information resource and the voice of the water quality improvement industry.
Product Certification
WQA’s Gold Seal Product Certification Program helps manufacturers assure their devices conform to national consensus safety and performance standards. We provide manufacturers with independent testing and certification to NSF/ANSI standards for a variety of drinking water treatment products.
PFAS Resources
WQA provides guidance on dealing with PFAS in drinking water for consumers, water treatment providers, water treatment system operators and others. WQA resources were updated in April to reflect the EPA’s final National Primary Drinking Water Regulation.
