About WQA
The Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit association for the residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment industry. WQA represents more than 2,500 member companies around the globe. Our membership is comprised of equipment manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and distributors of water quality improvement products and services.
WQA also serves as an educator of water treatment professionals, a certifier of water treatment products, a public information resource and the voice of the water quality improvement industry.

WQA offers access to science-based education, cutting-edge technologies in water treatment to make your system more efficient, the latest news surrounding compliance, and a network of other operators, ethical water quality professionals, and service providers you can count on.

Product Certification
The WQA Gold Seal Certification Program independently tests and certifies that drinking water treatment units, drinking water system components, and other products meet established NSF/ANSI and NSF/ANSI/CAN standards. WQA’s Sustainability Certification Program verifies to retailers and consumers that a product has been manufactured according to industry standards for recognized best practices in environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
