Join us for the Annual Meeting
April 27, 2021
Noon Eastern, 11 a.m. Central

DJ Shannahan
Toby Thomas
Vice President

Plan now to join us for the Water Quality Association’s annual meeting, which will feature remarks from WQA President DJ Shannahan and Executive Director Pauli Undesser; announcement of the 2021 WQA Leadership Awards, including the Hall of Fame and Lifetime Award winners; election of new members of the Board of Directors; and the ceremonial passing of the gavel to incoming WQA President Toby Thomas.

Keynote address

Curtis Dubay, Senior Economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Policy Division, will look ahead to the post-pandemic economic recovery in 2021 and beyond.  WQA members last heard from Dubay at the WQA Mid-Year Leadership Conference in September, when he offered a comprehensive economic outlook at the height of the pandemic.

Election of WQA officers

WQA members will have an opportunity to vote online for a slate of eight candidates for the WQA Board of Directors.  To read the biographies of the candidates, see our official Notice of the 2021 Annual Meeting.

WQA Committees, task forces and Sections will be meeting during the two weeks leading up to the annual meeting. We’re calling it the Volunteer Summit, an opportunity for all committee volunteers to participate and share their expertise. Committees, task forces and advisory councils are one of the main ways members can get involved and make a difference within the industry.
