Find a Phrase

How to quickly find a phrase in the Online Knowledge Base

To quickly find all instances of a specific phrase in the Knowledge Base,

  1. Enter the phrase into the Search by Keyword bar. For example: “oxidizing filter”. Limit phrases to two words. Note: Including high-frequency words as part of the phrase, such as “water” or “treatment” will cause the search function to time out. If you need to find a phrase such as “treatment train” and the search is timing out, limit your search to the word “train”.
  2. The search will return all of the articles that include the phrase..
  3. Open the article of interest and use the “Find” or “Find on page” option in the browser’s menu to quickly locate all instances of the word. The menu icon in most browsers is the “hamburger” (three stacked dashes) or the vertical ellipsis (three stacked dots) in the upper right corner.

The keyword shortcut to “Find on Page” is Ctrl+F.
