Industry Research Committee

The Industry Research Committee is responsible for providing more WQA member value by collecting and reporting analytics, statistics, and market trends in the water treatment industry. This committee evaluates market trend analyses and reports that the water treatment industry lacks and that WQA members would find value in, and advises WQA on the collection, execution, and delivery of those reports. The committee also monitors existing WQA industry reports, including the Tank and Valve Report, RO Market Trends Report, Cross Correlation Report, and Business Operations Report, and provides recommendations for responding to key findings based on the data. This work will continue indefinitely to continuously improving these types of member benefits.

Committee Charges:

  1. Advises staff on developing, collecting, and reporting relevant industry statistics, analytics, and trend data.
  2. Reviews report structure, categories, and overall execution plan and provides recommendations to WQA regarding any revisions or future reporting and assessments that would be helpful to members.
  3. Monitors the WQA-developed and in-place statistical reporting programs and provides recommendations to WQA for any improvements that might be warranted for the reporting programs and reports that are developed.
  4. Provides semi-annual reports to the Board of Directors.
