Professional Certification and Training Committee

The Professional Certification and Training Committee provides guidance on professional certification policies and educational topics for the training and certification programs offered to the industry. The committee helps to bring collective knowledge to the industry to improve the industry as a whole.

Committee Charges:

  1. Provides input and guidance relating to technical training offerings and programming, seminars, and other services and programs in support of member and industry efforts to advance the knowledge and skills development and professionalization of industry participants.
  2. Supports and delivers recommendations on professional certification
  3. Provides semi-annual reports to the Board of Directors.

We’re Looking For

WQA member individuals representing all categories

Passion about certification and the benefits it provides the industry

WQA-Certified personnel preferred

Key Skills & Experience

Experience with application, installation, service, and/or sales of  water treatment technologies

Knowledge of technical training needs of industry individuals in various job roles

Meeting Frequency

In Person:  WQA Convention & Exposition, Mid-Year Leadership Conference

Virtual: Quarterly
