WQA Product Certification Logos

The legal right to display the Gold Seal or Sustainability registered trademarks is one of the benefits of having a product certified through WQA’s Gold Seal or Sustainability programs. The marks distinguish products from those that have not obtained independent, third-party certification and assures customers of the adherence to recognized industry standards.

Gold Seal Registered Trademarks

WQA and its Gold Seal are registered trademarks of the Water Quality Association, and are currently registered in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Brazil, India, Korea, Mexico, and Taiwan. The usage of the Marks is protected by the laws of each country.

Canadian regulations require Gold Seal logos with a “C” designation to signify the product is sold into Canada. The “US” designation is not required but may be used as desired.

Written authorization to use the Gold Seal Mark is sent to the company of a certified product when the Gold Seal Certification department has made its decision on certification. The final, approved literature will be accompanied by a Gold Seal Certificate, which is issued as proof of compliance, for a period of no more than five years from the earliest test completion date. Unapproved use and misapplication of WQA’s registered trademarks is expressly prohibited.
